Each session is a custom integration of the tools and modalities that best fit your needs. Here are some descriptions of the various bodywork techniques I specialize in.
Swedish/Relxation
A gentle, flowing style of massage designed to calm the nervous system and ease everyday tension. Using light to medium pressure, Swedish massage promotes circulation, reduces stress, and leaves you feeling deeply relaxed and restored. Perfect for those seeking stress relief, improved sleep, or a general wellness reset.
Deep Tissue/Sports
A therapeutic, results-oriented massage focusing on the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. This modality is ideal for chronic tension or pain, recovery from workouts, or repetitive strain. Techniques such as slow, firm pressure and targeted work help release knots, improve mobility, and support injury prevention, recovery, and deep healing.
Dry Cupping Therapy
An ancient healing technique updated with modern tools. Using silicone or vacuum cups, gentle suction is applied to lift the skin and underlying tissues. This increases blood flow, releases tight fascia, and helps flush metabolic waste. Dry cupping can ease chronic tension, support athletic recovery, and improve mobility. Traditionally, cupping helps to mobilize stagnant energy in the body and expel certain energetic afflictions that are manifesting physically.
Hot Stone Massage
A deeply soothing treatment that combines traditional massage with the use of smooth, heated stones. The warmth penetrates muscles, melting away tightness and enhancing circulation. This therapy is both relaxing and therapeutic, making it excellent for reducing stress, easing muscle stiffness, and grounding the body. Hot stones are a great addition to any Swedish, relaxation, or deep tissue style massage.
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy
A subtle yet powerful technique that works with the body’s craniosacral system—the rhythm of the cerebrospinal fluid surrounding the brain and spine. With light touch used along the midline of the body, this therapy encourages the release of restrictions in the head, neck, and spine, helping to reduce tension, improve nervous system function, and promote overall balance. Especially supportive for stress, headaches, TMJ, trauma, emotional blockages, and nervous system regulation.
Reiki/Energy Healing
A gentle, non-invasive Japanese energy healing practice that balances the body’s natural energy flow. During a Reiki session, light touch or hands-off techniques help reduce stress, support emotional well-being, and encourage deep relaxation. Many clients describe Reiki as calming, centering, and renewing for mind, body, and spirit.
